What I Stand For
FAQs
Policy #1
Family - My wife and I both come from parents who were and are lifelong married couples (both of my parents have since passed away). Because of this, I truly believe in the American nuclear family institution. This is not to say that great individuals cannot succeed outside of a Father and Mother household, we know that they can.
However, I firmly believe that a child’s best launching pad into life comes from a Father and Mother foundation. When I am in office, my stance on policies relating to the American nuclear family institution will reflect this core belief.
Policy #2
Education - As a Christian, I firmly believe that God has granted parents as the only arbiters to children in their young lives. While there are those who fail at being parents, we have individuals in place who have devoted their lives to support children through these circumstances.
Everyone in a school district has or should have a legal responsibility to abdicate all authority over children to the child’s parents. Significant deviation from this natural relationship of parent and child should be dealt with promptly with consequences leading up to loss of job and ability to teach within our district. This is to prevent any further occurrence of such undermining in natural laws.
Policy #3
Public Safety - As a Husband and Father of four beautiful young women, the main concern for my Wife and I was the safety of our children out in public. When we bought our home in 2010 Murrieta was a very safe city. This was one of the most compelling reasons I moved my family to this city; the kind locals and beauty of it all was the cherry on top. Murrieta continues to be just this. I intend to help keep it this way.
